Rathika V, Content Coordinator, Artoons – Arts. She has an year of work experience with EY. She is an artist and specializes in Doodling, card making, drawing, pencil sketching and Mehandi. She has been part of Bhumi for the past 3 months and right from day one she was very much interested in taking the lead position in order to provide a better support to the team. She says she is eagerly looking forward to begin this amazing journey with Bhumi.
Sudha, Project Coordinator, Artoons – Arts. Sudha is working in Corporate HR with an MNC company for past 11 months. She belongs to Kolkata and is presently residing in Chennai for professional career. She missed activities of NGO since she shifted to Chennai and getting into Bhumi relieved from heavy heart. With all the love and affection she joined Bhumi to fulfill her wish, desire as nothing means more than serving to people which is like serving to God itself.

Adithya is working as R&D Engineer with Marsai Innovative Automation Technology.He came to know about Bhumi and its activities through his classmates during his college days.He was very much interested in volunteering and so joined in Bhumi as a volunteer with Artoons team. Santhosh Lakshmi, Project Coordinator, Waste Management. Santhosh Lakshmi has been a volunteer with Bhumi since 2010. She volunteered with Bhumi’s mentoring programme then and is now working to create awareness to avoid single usage of plastics, waste segregation at source, composting, and using eco friendly alternatives . The motive is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to sea and landfills, thereby making less carbon foot print and fighting global warming in the larger picture.

Veditha Palaniappan, Project Coordinator, de Step – Dance. Veditha is doing fourth year law in Dr Ambedkar law university. She loves dancing and sketching. She feels it as a more content life while spending time with the kids and working for a social cause. She has been volunteering with Bhumi for last 3 years. This journey has been an opportunity for her to meet many people and inspire their work.
Deepak Subramaniam, Operations Coordinator, de Step – Dance. “Give me a six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening my Axe” is a quote that Deepak has strictly followed in his life. He has always felt it is foolish to meander on a path of mere profitability and success without self-growth.
Nithish, Content Coordinator, de Step – Dance. Nithish is currently working in Saint Gobin company. He is a kickboxer and has won the State-level championship. He is also a pet lover and loves dancing. His motto is “when you take a job, complete it by putting your soul to it”. Bhumi has helped him to learn more in taking up lead roles.

Aadithya Sundar, HR Coordinator, Speak Out – English. Aadithya Sundar works as a design engineer for an automotive OEM. He’s a vibrant person and a die-hard fan of Leo Messi. He loves his weekend classes with the kids. Adding to that, he’s an avid gamer who enjoys his Fifa matches. Also he loves driving. He is always on a mission to save earth.
Hari Prashanth, HR Coordinator, Speak Out – English. Hari, has been an IT professional for two years now and currently working with Cognizant. He is a native of Coimbatore. He has done under-graduation from Amrita University. Some of the things that define him are an avid reader, enjoys playing PC games, loves long drives on the bike and passionate about coding. He has also tried his hands on short movie making, and in organising events in corporate and in college.
Resmi Ramakrishnan, Content Coordinator, Speak Out – English. Resmi is working as a software engineer for a banking company from past 2 years. She is from Kerala, but Chennai is her home. She has completed Masters degree in Computer Science & Engineering. She feels volunteering for Bhumi from past 3 years has given her so many beautiful memories and also has been a learning platform. She is crazy about gadgets and cats. Her hobbies are sketching and surfing. Volunteering is a passion to her.
Pavithra Mannan, Operations Coordinator, Speak Out– English. Pavithra has completed Masters in Food science and nutrition. Currently working as Child development project officer in ICDS. Her major role there is to help in the early childhood development of under privileged children. To her ‘Happiness is Volunteering’. Pratyoosha, HR Coordinator, Lakshya – Mentoring. An energetic and enthusiastic individual doing final year in the field of Marketing. Music, movies and watching TV series is always part of her pass time. Advertisement and event organizing always fascinates her. Dhasarath, Project Coordinator, Lakshya – Mentoring. Dasarath is quick-witted, fun loving, and innovative. Joined with Bhumi two years ago, he is passionate about spending time with kids and making this world a better place for them. He is always upbeat and is called as the live wire in a group. Arun Kumar, Content Coordinator, Lakshya – Mentoring. Arun Kumar is a Human Resources Evangelist based at KLA Tencor, Chennai. For the past five years he has been helping employees understand the importance of Human Resources in Business Operations. He’s a post graduate in Social Work from Madras Christian College. His interests are Travelling, Swimming and Social Engineering.
Surendar Ramakrishnan, Operations Coordinator, Lakshya – Mentoring. Surendar is working in Corporate sector. Training and mentoring the kids has been a heartwarming affair for him.While the mentoring sessions with the kids help him relax from stress, it provides the much needed motivation to the children.
Raju Selvaraj, Project Coordinator- Lakshya. Although born and brought up in Villupuram district, Chennai has been his home for the last 9 years. Fondly known as Raju Bhai by all, he is working as a consultant with HCL. He loves watching movies and enjoys networking with people. He has been volunteering with Bhumi for last three years and he says it has been the best thing that has happened in his life.

Namratha, HR Coordinator, REFRESH. Namratha is currently a student and has been volunteering with Bhumi since last year. She hopes to share the love , the happiness and the positive vibes she experienced in Bhumi with others . She occupies herself with her books (not academic ones) and is fond of colouring and jigsaw puzzles. Obsessing over pet videos and pestering her family for a pet is a constant.
Sinthu Priya, HR Coordinator, REFRESH. Sinthu is currently an Under Graduate student. She has been a part of Bhumi for the past 1 year. She is passionate about volunteering and spending time with kids. Sinthu is crazy about music and travelling. Her motto is “Live life to the fullest and focus on the positive”.
Balakrishnan, Operations Coordinator, REFRESH. He is not a perfectionist,but he does not compromise. An engineer by profession, Balakrishnan is a Music lover, Adventurer, Foodie & a Travel addict. He has been associated with various NGOs and started volunteering with Bhumi last year. His goal in life is to inspire others to give back in any way they can, not because they have to, but because they want to.
Sudhan, Project Coordinator, REFRESH. A business analyst by profession who has lately accepted Chennai to be his adopted hometown believes that none of us are smarter than all of us. He wants to see this whole world as a single village where everyone is the same. He says he was encouraged to work more by seeing the best of minds and the most awesome people in Bhumi. Aravind Madesh T, Project Coordinator, Fundraising Events. As an individual, Aravind has always been a good motivator who is passionate about bringing out the good in him and others. It was with this thought, he started volunteering in Feb 2015 by joining Lakshya, and extended his journey to Refresh in the year 2016. Murali Manohar, Project Coordinator, Yantra – Robotics. Murali graduated from ACCET, Karaikudi with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and now a Software Engineer in Vembu Technologies, Chennai. He is passionate about Coding and geeky gadgets. His hobbies are pencil art, dancing, hand crafts, cooking and gaming. He strongly believes that “Children need to be taught how to think and not what to think” and he feels proud to be a part of bhumi in doing it.
Abirami, HR Coordinator, Yantra – Robotics. Abirami is a foodie, music lover, yuvan addict and professionally an offshore structural engineer working for an oil and gas based company. Volunteering with Bhumi for the past one year, she tells that she feels complete when involved in doing things which she can afford. She feels that in Bhumi she is utilizing her valued human life and self-motivated with challenges and responsibilities.
Rakesh Sancheti, Content Coordinator, Yantra – Robotics. An innovative hardware engineer by profession, Rakesh happens to be a foodie who is also fond of gadgets and travelling. Believes that science develops logical reasoning and thus taking science to kids during the age of cognitive development will ensure tomorrow’s society to have lesser social problems.
Viknesh Rao, HR Coordinator, Little Einsteins – Science.Vikki is a B.E. graduate, currently working in Aditya birla MF. He is a cheerful person and handles any pressure with a smile. Being considerate and approachable, Viknesh is a buddy to all his lovely friends and colleagues. He believes that procrastination is just an excuse.
Gowtham, PR Coordinator, Little Einsteins – Science. An Engineer from Instrumentation background, Gowtham has been volunteering in Bhumi for more than two years.He is from Namakkal. An extrovert person who wishes to do what he loves to do. Started his carrier in a startup at Banglore and now working in Bhumi’s Ignite Commmunity Center Program, helping kids in developing their basic educational skills with required resources and with the help of tutors at centres, to create a learning environment for kids in various locality in and around Chennai.
Saif, HR Coordinator, Little Einsteins – Science. MD.Saifuddin is from Chennai doing final year in Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering. He has been volunteering in NGOs for past 3 years, out of which 2 years have been with Bhumi. Saif says in the last two years in Bhumi yantra, he has learned a lot more than volunteering. With an experience in centre HR role from last one year, he has come up with many ideas and implemented on his centre, and shared along with all other HRs as well as volunteers.
Abubacker Siddique O M, Content Coordinator, Little Einsteins – Science. Abubacker Siddique is a Chip Designer at Microchip Technology India Pvt Ltd, an American manufacturer of micro controller, memory and analog semiconductors. He has completed a graduate program in the field of Electronics in College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University. Apart from his career, he loves reading books and playing football. He says “Making one person smile can change the world. May be not the whole world but that person’s whole world”.
Muthu Subramani, Operations Coordinator, Little Einsteins – Science. Muthu Subramani M, who is a mechanical engineering graduate, is now working as design engineer in Triad Software Pvt Ltd. He is the son of Mr. Murugan and Mrs. Muthumari Murugan. He is a well disciplined guy with a good analytical skills. He has a vision to serve his country as well as to share his knowledge to the future generation.

Jamal, Project coordinator, Sprint – Sports National PR Coordinator. Jamal is into volunteering field for the past two years and have come across many NGOs in Chennai. At first he had no big goals in volunteering and he used to go only for events. He then started leading events. And he feels all that work brought him here to his future goal. Maya Ramachandran, Content Coordinator, Kanini – Computers. Maya Ramachandran is a Research Scientist at a private R&D. She is an enthusiastic person who believes everything is possible if there is a positive attitude in life. She has been a part of Bhumi for the past 6 months. She really enjoys taking classes for kids. This year, she is looking forward to impact a lot by empowering more people in her team. Apart from that, she is a Classical dancer, loves to travel, eat and read.
Ashwin Muthiah, HR Coordinator, Kanini – Computers. Ashwin is pursuing his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has been a part of Bhumi since June 2016. An ardent music lover who can play some decent guitar as well, an easy going person, and he loves to collect stamps. A cup of coffee and a good book makes up a perfect holiday for him.
Aravind Chandrasekar, Project Coordinator, Kanini – Computers. Aravind Chandrasekar is a database administrator in DXC technology. He wants to live in a world filled with happiness and positivity for which he is now contributing through Bhumi. His favourite pastime is reading comic books, watching TV series and singing. He is also smitten by lust for trekking, wandering and exploring new places and likes trying out new cuisines.
Aardra Dutt, HR Coordinator, Kanini – Computers. Aardra is a medical student from KMC. She is a bundle of energy and spreading smiles in all possible ways is her goal.She says bhumi is the best thing that has happened to her and believes firmly that it provides her a platform to transform her dreams into reality. She is optimistic that one day she will be able to bring about a change that makes peoples life better.
Amit Prakash Pandey, Operations Coordinator, Kanini – Computers. Amit has done masters in Embedded Systems from VIT University and is currently working as Associate Software Engineer in Scientific Games Ind. Pvt. Ltd. He started his journey with Bhumi in January 2017 and is a part of Kanini Project. He has also volunteered for Nakshatra Sports this year and says it was awesome experience for him. His favorite one liner is “KORBO LORBO JEETBO”.
Chidhambhara Rajaa. A, Operations Coordinator, Kanini – Computers. Chimbu, as he is fondly called, says that when he’s not busy scouting the streets on his trusted bike and clicking picturesque snaps of the panorama, he can usually be seen volunteering at Bhumi with his trademark headphones in tow. In his opinion, a moment that is not spent in helping others is a moment wasted, and that is what drives him in life.

Thangaraj Samiappan, Project Coordinator, Little Einsteins – Mathematics. Thangaraj has been volunteering with Bhumi for 4 years. Working as a Investment Banker at SBI, he loves to travel and try different cuisines.
Ajin, HR Coordinator, Little Einsteins – Mathematics. An aspiring writer, Ajin has been a part of Bhumi since November 2015. ‘You are the creator and destroyer of your own path’ is the motto he lives by. A foodie, movie buff and gamer.
Akshara Venkatesh, Content Coordinator, Little Einsteins – Mathematics. Akshara Venkatesh is studying Mathematics in MOP Vaishnava College for Women. She strongly believes in the motto of ‘Live and Let Live’. She says education is the sector that demands equality over equity. Be it a child from the rags or a child from the riches , education imparted to each one of them should be of the richest quality.
Arunkumar Navaneethan, Operations Coordinator, Little Einsteins – Mathematics. Arunkumar is an ex-IT employee currently on break. He is an enthusiastic volunteer who wishes to take responsibility, contribute to the development of society and play a major role in children’s education. Prakash Ravi, Operations Coordinator, Little Einsteins – Mathematics. Prakash has done engineering in Sri Sairam Engineering College and is now working in TCS for the past 1.5 years. He joined Bhumi in 2014 as a volunteer in Little Einsteins Mathematics. He has worked as a tutor and volunteered as Centre coordinator for a year and continued as a volunteer in the same centre. After getting some experience he thought that he can try to do some change and so applied for Lead Bhumi 2017.
